Denmark’s ECCO Group is one of the world’s largest shoes manufacturers and retailers. As a global market leader for sports and leisure shoes, the Danes also offer a comprehensive range of products for golfers. At the ECCO DAY events, the German division’s marketing department is trying to promote golf as a sport and therefore ECCO’s sales in the market. The modern 9-hole tournament, which is offered as an “after-work” event on over 50 golf courses, has been well-received.
More than 300 tournaments are planned in 2020. Various print media, such as posters, invitations, roll-ups, information flyers and postcards, are constantly needed for organisation and communication. ECCO needed a system solution which is able to localise, print and deliver these efficiently and CD-compliant to the organising golf clubs.

The Solution
HansaRepro was able to deliver the perfect end-to-end solution consisting of process know-how, IT system and implementation services. The core of the solution is a web-to-print solution with an integrated Webshop where all print materials can be selected, localized as well as customized, and ordered via a graphics editor software. All the parts of the order are digitally printed, put together into a single package and delivered to the corresponding delivery address saved in the system. New golf clubs, new print media or changes to the corporate design or layout can easily be entered into the system. It’s a very convenient, fast and highly efficient solution for ECCO and its tournament partners!
