Bauanleitung für Playmobil

Seit 2022 unterstützt Meyle+Müller die Horst Brandstätter Group als Produktionsdienstleister bei der Erstellung von Bauanleitungen für die Spielzeug-Neuheiten von PLAYMOBIL.

Dabei stehen kinderfreundliche Bauanleitungen im Fokus, die von der konzeptionellen Idee und Planung der einzelnen Bauschritte bis zur Realisierung reichen. Eine sorgfältige Einarbeitung und Beschäftigung mit den jeweiligen Spielzeugen versteht sich hier von selbst – vorgegebene Rahmenbedingungen, wie die in einzelnen Beuteln verpackten Einzelteile müssen damit in Einklang gebracht werden.

Damit der Aufbau auch den Kleinsten möglichst einfach gelingt, werden die nötigen Bauschritte in den Bauanleitungen visuell abgebildet und nachvollziehbar dargestellt. Für die einzelnen Schritte werden dazu die Bilder einzeln auf Basis der Bauteile in der passenden Positionierung über CGI gerendert und anschließend in der Anleitung zusammengestellt. Je nach Komplexität und Teile-Anzahl eines Modells können somit schon mal mehrere Seiten zusammenkommen, um den Baufortschritt für die Kinder nachvollziehbar und frustfrei zu gestalten.

Sabrina Levacher, Grafikerin bei Meyle+Müller und verantwortlich für die Realisierung der Bauanleitungen, hat selbst zwei Jungs im Alter von 5 und 8 Jahren und kann sich aus eigener Spielpraxis perfekt in den Kopf der Kinder hineinversetzen: „Zu Beginn einer Bauanleitung stehen immer die Einzelteile und das fertige Modell – je nach Schwierigkeit des Spielzeuges entwickelt sich dann Stück für Stück im nachfolgenden Kreativ-Prozess die spätere Bauanleitung.“Am Ende stehen als Ergebnis kinderfreundliche, so einfach wie möglich gestaltete Bauanleitungen – so trägt M+M seinen Teil dazu bei, dass jedes Kind ein frustfreies und inspirierendes Spielerlebnis mit PLAYMOBIL genießen kann.

Since 2022, Meyle+Müller has been supporting the Horst Brandstätter Group as a production service provider in the creation of building instructions for PLAYMOBIL’s new toy products.

The focus is on child-friendly building instructions that range from the conceptual idea and planning of the individual building steps through to realization. Careful familiarization and engagement with the respective toys is a matter of course here – given framework conditions, such as the individual parts packed in individual bags, must be brought into line with this.

To make assembly as easy as possible for even the youngest children, the necessary construction steps are visually illustrated and clearly presented in the assembly instructions. For the individual steps, the images are rendered individually based on the components in the appropriate positioning using CGI and then compiled in the instructions. Depending on the complexity and number of parts of a model, this can add up to several pages in order to make the construction progress comprehensible and frustration-free for the children.

Sabrina Levacher, graphic designer at Meyle+Müller and responsible for the realization of the building instructions, has two boys herself, aged 5 and 8, and can put herself perfectly into the children’s heads from her own play experience: “At the beginning of a building instruction there are always the individual parts and the finished model – depending on the difficulty of the toy, the later building instructions then develop piece by piece in the subsequent creative process.”
