Great Place to Work®: apollon receives further award: “Best employer in ITC 2020”
apollon, a leading software provider for automated marketing processes and product data communication, now has two reasons to celebrate. Following the Pforzheim software specialist‘s recognition as one of the “Best Employers in Baden-Württemberg 2020“ on 12.3.2020 by Great Place to Work®, yet another nationwide award was received on the 24.3.2020 – “Best Employer in ITC 2020”. The ITC award is aimed specifically at companies in the information technology and communication sector and rewards good and attractive working conditions. This means that apollon can boast two awards from its first participation in these competitions.
Norbert Weckerle, CEO of apollon added: “The ITC sector is a highly innovation industry and the central driver of digitisation. Although the effects of the Coronavirus are also being felt in this sector, the industry will continue to grow. ITC is a pioneer and is already making new, digitized workplaces possible from virtually any location. In view of both this and the shortage of skilled workers, it is essential to have an attractive working culture – both for our current and future employees. We, as a software company, are therefore very proud of this accolade from our own business sector, and feel further validated as an employer by this second award. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my colleagues once again.
This is the 8th time that Great Place to Work® and its partners have held the “Best Employers in ICT” competition. Partners of the Great Place to Work® industry initiative and the competition, which was launched in 2013, include the digital association Bitkom, the trade magazine “Computerwoche” and the IT Portal “ChannelPartner”.
