apollon, a leading software provider for automated marketing processes and product data communication, has been recognised as one of the “Best Employers in Baden-Württemberg 2020” by Great Place to Work ®. The accolade was awarded to companies that offer their employees particularly attractive and beneficial working conditions.
This awarding of this honour was based on an anonymous survey of apollon’s employees.
The survey covered key workplace topics such as trust in management, identification with the company, career development opportunities, remuneration, the promotion of health and the work-life balance. In all of these categories apollon received a very high approval rating from its workforce. Additionally, the quality of apollon’s human resources and management processes was also evaluated. Here too, apollon achieved above average results. These outstanding employee survey results as well as the corporate culture audit led to apollon’s certification as an “Attractive Employer” and qualified apollon to participate in the “Best Employer in Baden-Württemberg” competition. The partners of this award, which was first launched in 2015, are the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW), the Demography Network (ddn), and the Ludwig Erhard Prize Initiative (ILEP). The umbrella competition is the national “Great Place to Work®” competition “Germany’s Best Employers” (held annually since 2002).
“The award stands for a workplace culture shaped by trust, pride and team spirit,” says Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of the German Great Place to Work® institute. “Attractive working conditions and a supportive, cooperative culture are a key factor in economic success and the ability to face up to important future challenges.”
„Baden-Württemberg is one of the leading economic regions in Germany and Europe. Both small and medium-sized companies as well as industrial conglomerates are at home here. Stuttgart, Karlsruhe and Tübingen are among the most economically powerful regions in Europe, according to the Baden-Württemberg Office of Statistics. But, and this is the decisive point, 99% of all companies that form the economic backbone of this region are medium-sized companies. The South-West of Germany has well over 100 “hidden champions” and this makes me even happier that we have been recognized in the “Best Employer in Baden-Württemberg” award and had our company’s team spirit rewarded once again.
